Full Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive in Bali. Free time. Today you arrive in Bali where you will be transferred to your hotel, the Padma Hotel. Free time to shop.
Day 02: Leave for Labuan Bajo airport. Meet with your guide and transfer to hotel to check in – Local tour of Mirror Stone cave – Manggaraines traditional fighting dance (Caci Dance) – Hotel and dinner.
Day 03: Labuan Bajo - Bibadari Island - Kalong Island. Transfer from Hotel to boat – sail to Bibadari Island for snorkelling andrelaxing on the beach – sail to Rinca Island to see the Komodo dragon andother island wild life – sail to Kalong Island.
Day 04: Kalong Island - Red Beach - Komodo Island. After breakfast sail from Kalong Island to Red Beach for snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. Lunch aboard the boat then sail on to Komodo Island to see the flying fox. Stay overnight onboard as we sail for Sumba.
Day 05: Komodo Island – Sumba (Wanokaka). During the night we will have motored to Sumba arriving at Wanokaka. There we will go ashore and spend the next day observing the Pasola festival. The Pasola is a mock battle between tribes. Hundreds of horsemen attack each other with “blunt” spears. The scene is spectacular. We will also trek to nearby villages to see enormous megalithic stone carvings. Overnight aboard boat.
Day 06: Wanokaka – Baing. Today we will relax and sail the southern coast of Sumba. We will have a chance to swim and snorkel. Once near Baing, anyone interested in surfing can try their hand at some of the best surf around. Overnight aboard boat.
Day 07 : Baing – Waingapu We will sail to Sumba’s capital and get the chance to visit some of the best ikat makers in the Archipelago. The process to make one cloth can take months. Overnight aboard boat.
Day 08 : Waingapu – Labuan Bajo We will sail to Sumba’s capital and get the chance to visit some of the best textile makers in the Archipelago. Hotel.
Day 09 : Labuhan Bajo - Bali After breakfast we fly back to Bali where we will book into the Padma Hotel. We have free time for shopping.
Day 10 : Bali - Home Usually flights depart late in the evening so you will all day to relax and shop in Bali. Depart for home.
