Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive Townsville offers the beginner diver the ultimate in diving experience on their very first course, the outer Great Barrier Reef. Your PADI open water course begins with 2 days of theory and pool training at our PADI 5 STAR TRAINING CENTER.

With a maximum of only 8 students per course, your Instructor will take you, at an easy pace through the knowledge and skills necessary to become a confident, safe diver. Smaller student numbers mean better more personalized attention. More time, less worry, more fun!

Then it is up to you. Two days on Wheeler Reef.  Wheeler Reef is rated as one of the premier snorkeling and dive sites in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. This reef has many shallow areas well suited to snorkeling and introductory diving, as well as deep bommies and swim-throughs for the experienced diver.

Sites such as Student Bommie with a maximum depth of 12m have a sandy bottom, excellent coral cover and a diverse array of marine life. Shark Alley is renowned for sightings of black tip & white tip reef sharks, grey reef whaler sharks, giant trevally, and pygmy manta rays (Oct-Dec). Wheeler Reef is an excellent location for diving with large schools of pelagic species, as well as macro species such as the ghost pipe fish.

Non inclusive Requirements:

• Australian dive medical (AS 4005.1)
• Ability to swim.
• 2 passport Photos.

Check-in: Must collect manuals and complete dive medical prior to commencement of course

• Course Time: 08.00am to 05.00pm
• Boarding Time: 06.30am Breakwater Marina, Townsville (pickup commences at 06.00am)
• Departure Time:  07.00am – Breakwater Marina, Townsville, 07.25am – Nelly Bay Terminal, Magnetic Island
• Return Time: 04.00pm – Nelly Bay Terminal, Magnetic island, 04.30pm – Breakwater Marina, Townsville
• Course Days: Monday (Saturday upon request)
