Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City
The infectious energy of Ho Chi Minh City makes Vietnam's largest metropolis a fascinating place to explore. Spend time discovering the past in the War Remnants Museum, take in the colourful atmosphere at the Gian Vien Pagoda or discover hidden bargains among the stalls of Ben Thanh Market. Get a taste of life during the American war on a guided tour through the Cu Chi Tunnels then marvel at the the eclectic Cao Dai temple.
Day 2 Mekong Delta
The Mekong Delta is referred to as Vietnam's 'ricebowl' where farmers produce coconuts, sugar cane, a wide variety of fruit, fresh seafood and, of course, rice. Take a boat ride along the river and canals, cruising through the lush green growth before stopping at an orchard to try the delicious local fruit. Spend the night at a local home, built on stilts over the water.
Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City
Take some time to stroll through Ho Chi Minh City for some last-minute shopping or slurp up steaming bowls of pho before wandering through the galleries lining Dong Khoi. Perhaps even treat yourself to a relaxing massage or sip a final cocktail at one of the city's many stylish bars.
