Full Itinerary
A 8 day dhow sailing cruise among the beautiful islands of northern Madagascar, offering wildlife spotting, leisurely walks, pristine beaches and the warm Indian Ocean.
DAY 1, Nosy Be, Hell-ville
Upon arrival on the island of Nosy Be you are met by the captain and crew and transferred to accommodation in Hell-ville, overlooking the ocean. Enjoy free time this evening in this welcoming town and perhaps dive into the markets or enjoy a local seafood dinner.
DAYS 2 - 7, Island Cruising
Boarding our elegant dhow sailboat, we spend the next 6 days sailing among the Nosy Be archipelago, enjoying fantastic marine life, swimming, fishing, taking forest walks and camping on beaches.
While our route depends on tides, we may stop at islands including Nosy Tanikely, a marine reserve with wonderfully clear water for snorkelling, Nosy Komba, famous for its friendly lemurs and Mahalina with beautiful mangroves we can explore by kayak. We eat fresh food produced on the islands and our seafood is caught straight from the boat! We aim to travel mostly under sail but have a motor if required.
DAY 8, Nosy Be, Hell-ville
This morning we sail back to Hell-ville port and bid fond farewells to the crew before being transferred to the airport for our onward flights.
