discover Fraser Island's iconic spots - beautiful Lake McKenzie, the historical heart of Central Station and Wanggoolba Creek,
golden dunes, fresh water creeks, rusting ship wrecks... and if time
permits our guides might show you some of their own special spots!
Itinerary
After departing Kingfisher Bay Resort Ferry at 9pm, we will arrive at Fraser Island after about 50 minutes. After a quick briefing, your 4WD adventure begins!
Day 1:
Get up close and personal with freshwater turtles at Basin Lake
Go through Central Station: an ancient, peaceful rainforest
Walk alongside lush green rainforest on the banks of Wanggoolba Creek
Walk through the forest amongst giant satinay trees in Pile Valley
Finish the day with a refresing afternoon swim in the pristine waters of Lake McKenzie.
Includes picnic lunch and buffet dinner
Day 2:
An early start to explore Seventy-Mile Beach, the worlds most gorgeous beach highway.
Eli Creek
Maheno Shipwreck - one of the most iconic photo spots on Fraser Island
The Pinnacles Coloured Sands
Indian Head - climb to the top of a rocky headland for awesome island and ocean views, try spotting humpback whales (July - November).
Champagne Pools
Buffet breakfast, picnic lunch and buffet dinner
Day 3:
The last day we visit a few of Frasers lesser known beauty spots.
Walk through rainforest to beautiful emerald green Lake Wabby, Frasers deepest lake and largest swimming hole.
Hammerstone Sandblow
Eurong Beach Resort for an all you can eat buffet lunch
Swim in the sparkling waters of Lake Birrabeen
Includes buffet breakfast and BBQ lunch
Then catch the ferry and arrive back at Hervey Bay at approximately 5.50pm, where we can drop you off at your Hervey Bay accommodation for some well earned rest!
