Full Itinerary

A 3 day course that focuses on basic knowledge development and the practice of core scuba diving skills in the pool and open water. There is some classroom work involved but emphasis is placed on self study, if you complete the required reading beforehand, then your classroom time will be minimal.

The Open Water course is your first true step on the PADI ladder of dive education, upon qualification you will be able to plan and dive to depths of 18m. Your Open Water certification is a lifetime qualification recognised in over 175 countries that opens up approximately 70% of the planet for you to explore.

The Open Water course is comprised of 5 knowledge development modules, 5 confined water training sessions and 4 open water dives, all conducted at a pace conducive to learning.

Day 1
Morning: Classroom, DVD, instructor led presentations, quizzes. Afternoon: Swimming Pool- all of the basic scuba skills. Total time 9am- 5pm

Day 2
Diving on Ao Nang’s local islands, 2 dives. Leave 9am- Return 2pm

Day 3
Diving the Phi Phi Islands, 2 dives, Leave 8am- Return 4pm. More theory and final exam conducted onboard the boat.
