Our top-end Honeymoon Bures are scattered widely on the hill behind Matava to ensure complete privacy and stunning vistas. Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style and finely finished with polished mahogany timber floors, large airy louvre windows, King Size timber four poster beds and private decks. The expansive full length picture windows openning onto your private deck with views across the ocean.

The Honeymoon Bures are each nestled in their own nook in the rainforest to offer privacy, comfort and superb ocean views. Surrounded in beautiful tropical gardens and immersed in lush rainforest the Honeymoon Bures are a true heaven of privacy within the beauty of Fiji's natural environment. 

All these new design bures have new private facilities and expansive private decks. Solar power provides night lighting in the Honeymoon Bures for night time reading and comfort. Hot water is supplied to all the bures by our eco-friendly Solar Hot Water system.

Our environmental policy does not allow us to spray harsh chemicals for pest control, we prefer the natural repellant of the carefully selected shrubs that discourage insects and bugs. The romance of the tropics is enlivened with custom made mosquito nets on all of our beds. Mosquito coils and repellant may be purchased from the main bure.

Oceanview Bure

Our Oceanview Bures are distributed on the lower hillside across the stream to catch the soothing tradewinds and give you excellent views across the ocean.  Built in the traditional thatched Fijian style and finely finished with polished mahogany timber floors, large airy louvre windows, Queen Size timber four poster beds and private decks.  The large louvred windows open onto your private deck with the view across the Pacific Ocean.

The Ocean View Bures are each on a different level nestled in the rainforest to offer great comfort and superb ocean views. Immersed in beautiful tropical gardens and surrounded in lush rainforest the Oceanview Bures are a true haven of serenity within the beauty of Fiji's natural environment.
